Judith Supperer
Judith Supperer, 61, of Riverdale, passed away May 27, 2014.  She is survived by her sons Steve Supperer, Dave Supperer and Christopher (Jill) Supperer; daughter Judy (James) Babcock;  grandsons Ethan Supperer & Collin Supperer; and granddaughters Jamie Babcock & Shelly Babcock.

Ross E. (Buddy) Wilks, Jr.
Ross E. (Buddy) Wilks, Jr., 71, of Peachtree City, GA passed away peacefully on Monday, May 26, 2014.  He moved to Peachtree City in 1975 from Orlando, FL to start his family and new career in Atlanta.  He loved the game of golf and shared that passion with his kids.  He lived out his retirement in Tyrone and most recently in Newnan with his daughter.  Ross is preceded in death by his parents, the late Gene Reynolds and Ross E. Wilks, Sr.  He is survived by his sons, Mathew Wilks of Newnan and Mark Sikes of Fayetteville; daughter, Wendy Sikes Smith of Newnan; granddaughter, Madeline Wilks; brother, Mike Wilks of Orlando, FL; and three nephews.  Arrangements made under the direction of Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home & Crematory in Peachtree City.

Herbert Summers
Herbert Summers, 79, passed away May 27, 2014.  He was born May 16, 1935 to H.L. Summers and Kate Summers in Atlanta, GA.  The family moved to Mississippi near the end of WWII.  He graduated from high school in Meridian, MS in 1953. He entered  Air Force Aviation Cadet Training in 1954 where he received Air Force wings and commissioned as a 2nd lieutenant in 1956.  He graduated from the University of South Mississippi in 1959 and worked full-time with the Mississippi Air National Guard. for a few years before applying for a pilot position in 1961.  He flew numerous aircraft with Delta and flew special flights during the introduction of the B767 and B757 for Delta.  He was very proud of flying charters in support of bringing our troups home from Iraq during Desert Storm in 1991.  The last five years was all international flying on three different long range Delta aircraft, B767 ER, MD11, and L1011-500, flying to Europe and Asia.  His retirement flight was to Dublin, Ireland, and back to Atlanta on May 12, 1995, prior to his 60th birthday.
Mr. Summers is survived by his wife of 49 years Jane Harris Summers; sons Steve (Cathy) Summers and Donald (Jennifer) Summers; grandchildren Josh, Emily, Blake and Grant.
A memorial service will be held Friday, May 30, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville.  The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to The American Diabetes Association or The Wounded Warrior Project .

Etinwa Michael “Mike” Esua
Etinwa Michael “Mike” Esua, 36, of Fayetteville, passed away May 22, 2014.
He is survived by his wife Vernice Smith-Esua of Fayetteville; sons Michael I Esua and Noah J. Esua of Fayetteville; parents Mr.& Mrs. Effiong Esua; brother Reverend Deke & Grace Effiong of Maryland; four brothers and one sister of Nigeria; father-in-law & mother-in-law Kenneth & Lindy Smith of Fayetteville; and godparents Ted & Tina Okere of Brockton, MA.
A burial will take place in Massachusetts at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make donations to a charity of one’s choice.

Phyllis Claire Parker Munro
Phyllis Claire Parker Munro died peacefully at her home in Peachtree City on Monday, May 26, 2014, surrounded by her family. Mrs. Munro was a beloved, mother, grandmother, dedicated teacher and talented artist, married to the late Reverend B.G.Munro. Mrs. Munro is survived by her three children, Linda Sue Allman (David) of Peachtree City, Sally Ann Munro Alvarez (Joe) of Yonkers, NY, and Bursell Timothy Munro (Becky) of Lilburn, GA. She will be missed very much by her children, their spouses, her seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Angelo Salvatore “Paul” Vinci
Angelo Salvatore “Paul” Vinci, 87, of Riverdale, passed away May 28, 2014. He served his country in the US Air Force during WWII.  He then worked as an air traffic controller for the FAA. 
He was preceded in death by his parents Vincent & Rose Vinci.  He is survived by his wife Joyce A. Vinci of Riverdale; sons Tommy (B.J.) Vinci of Fayetteville and Paul Tilden Vinci of Palm City, FL; daughter Karen Vinci-Smith of Fayetteville; grandchildren Brantley Vinci of Fayetteville, Kyle (Lysa) Vinci of Sterling, VA, Sara Vinci of St. Petersburg, FL, Trent Vinci of LA, and Samantha, Alex, & Drew Smith, all of Fayetteville; great-grandchild Ansley Vinci of Sterling, VA; and sister Ann Pepe of CT.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville.  Reverend Wayne Caviness will officiate.  The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 the funeral home prior to the service.

Dan Allen Dorsey
Dan Allen Dorsey, 77, of Fayetteville, GA passed away on Friday, May 23, 2014.  He was born in Atlanta, GA on April 16, 1937 to the late John C. Dorsey and Mattie Kimbell Dorsey. Dan was a loving husband, father, and grandfather whom will be truly missed by all.   He was a Magician and Puppeteer who loved doing shows for kids.  In fact, his first magic show was in his own backyard as a small child for other kids.  As an adult, he was a member of the local chapters of the IBM Brotherhood of Magicians and the Society of American Magicians, and even served as President for both of them during his lifetime. He loved magic right up until the end.  He was also an avid collector of historical memorabilia and facts, always having the right answer to so many history questions, as his grandchildren can tell you. He is survived by his wife, of 55 years, Jo Ann T. Dorsey; sons, Charles A. Dorsey and Michael E. Dorsey; daughter, Sandra L. Ostrander; grandchildren, Jeremy A. Dorsey, Dana Nicholson, Brittany N. Ostrander, Ashley E. Ostrander, and Aaron M. Ostrander; and brothers, William H. Dorsey and Johnny R. Dorsey.  A memorial service will be held at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home & Crematory in Peachtree City, GA on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 from 7 to 9 p.m..

Virginia Belle Atha
Virginia Belle Atha, 94, passed away May 29, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband Theodore Atha; sons Paul Atha & Coy Atha; and daughter June Mask. She is survived by her daughters Shelia (Larry Hester) Glover of Griffin and Kay (Ray) Whitley of Griffin; sons Roger (Gesley) Atha of Senoia and Farrin (Crystal) Atha of Fayetteville; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends Saturday, May 31, 2014 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville with a graveside service to follow at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Pastor Ronnie Whitlock will officiate.
