By Josh Akeman

Fayette Youth Protection Homes has offered protection for children in need of safe refuge in foster homes since its founding in 1986. Since then its services have expanded around the state, and the vision for helping children has expanded with it.
On Saturday, the organization’s name was officially changed to Bloom. The Bloom Closet (formerly Gracie’s Closet) takes donations of clothing, books, school supplies, toys and baby gear and provides them for free to to approximately 350 foster children each year.
On Saturday, kids of various ages walked the runway to show off clothes from The Bloom Closet.
