Wayne Teasley Powell, 72, of Riverdale, passed away January 24, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his son John Wayne Powell.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years Jean Powell; daughter Susan Shinall and husband Rick; son Scott Powell; son David Powell and wife Jennifer; 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers; 2 sisters; numerous nieces & nephews.
A funeral service was held Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. The burial will follow at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. The family received friends Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
