Mark Twain’s children’s classic, “Tom Sawyer” will be presented on Thursday November 15th at 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at the Harvest Family Theater, behind LaHacinda on Hwy 85N, Fayetteville by the 7th and 8th grade students from Konos Juniors.
This delightful story of a young rascal and his many adventures stars Seth Lee as Tom, Chloe Artim as Becky, and Josiah Lee as Huck Finn. The production is true to the original book and features a mix of humor, music, and drama.
Tom Sawyer grows up in Hannibal, Missouri during the 1800’s. Raised by his aunt, Tom is always into mischief. He plays pirate on the Mississippi River, gets his friends to do his chores, hunts for treasure, and flirts with the girls at school. His best friend, Huck Finn, is neglected by his father and lives by his wits. While trying to follow an old superstition to get rid of warts, Tom and Huck accidentally witness a murder. Come and see “Tom Sawyer” to find out how Tom and Huck overcome these tragic events with laughter and friendship.
Tickets for “Tom Sawyer” are $5 at the door. Konos Juniors are middle school students at Konos, a homeschool-hybrid academy in Fayetteville and Peachtree City. For more information on Konos go to www.konos.org.
