Volunteers sought for Church Street Park makeover

2012-10-29

By Josh Akeman

The MOMs Club of Fayetteville spent over four months working hard to raise over $20,000 for playground equipment and resurfacing at the Church Street park in Fayetteville. Now, it's time to put on jeans and boots and get to work remaking the park, and the MOMs club needs volunteers to help install the equipment.
The installation will be on Saturday, November 3, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The MOMs Club is asking volunteers to bring work gloves, shovels, and rakes.
If you'd like to get out and help provide a new, safe park for kids to play, send an email to the MOMs Club at
churchstreetparkproject@gmail.com.
