 On September 20, we were delighted to welcome Mr. Davis from RAS Systems, LLC to our upper level German class at Whitewater High School.
Mr. Davis presented a powerpoint about the company and the types of machines they sell and service there.
He also showed videos that depicted the machines in action.
Mr. Davis works as a Sales Engineer for RAS Systems in Peachtree City, which is a daughter company of RAS based in Sindelfingen Germany.
Mr. Davis shared his experiences with the company and talked in German with the students about how he uses his German on a regular basis whether it be on the phone with the main office in Germany, with customers or on his frequent trips back and forth to Germany as part of his job.
This visit was to introduce the students to the company which is taking part in Whitewater High School's German Program's School to Work Initiative which seeks to connect today's students with tomorrow's jobs and strengthen the bonds between the business world and the educational arena with the specific intent of preparing today's students for the workforce. |
